Ragan on racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway: “Indy is a track with a lot of history so it’s always a special place to race and definitely a highlight to the season. Only going there once a year really makes you get worked up and excited to race there. Hopefully our new FR9 engine package will be suitable for the long straight-aways there at Indy and help us bring home a good finish with our UPS Ford.”
Crew chief Donnie Wingo on racing at Indianapolis Motor Speedway: “I really like Indy. I’ve had some good runs there a few times before and it’s just such a unique place to race at. Track position and qualifying are huge there. It’s a really tough place to pass and you need to have a happy balance with your car to run well. You know going in you’re going to fight a tight-handling condition off the turns and that track position is crucial. So we’ll need to qualify well and get our UPS Ford handling well in practice.”

The Lexington South Center (SLIC - 4052) in the Ohio Valley District has been selected as UPS Maximum Center for the July 25 race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The Lexington South Center will have its identification number on Ragan’s car as a result of being a consistent leader on the Ohio Valley District Balanced Scorecard and leading the district in the areas of growth and safety.
