Ragan on racing at Chicagoland Speedway: “I’m excited to have the freight car back this weekend. I think the silver car under the lights for a Saturday night race at Chicago will look really good. Chicago is a really fun track to race at and I think we learned a lot at Michigan that we can carry over into this weekend. Our 1.5-mile program has really come along and we should have a good run Saturday night in our UPS Freight Ford.”
Crew chief Donnie Wingo on racing at Chicagoland Speedway: “Chicago is a newer track that we race at, and due to that fact, the groove that the drivers can race in hasn’t widened out as much yet as other 1.5-mile tracks we visit. Chicagoland is a ‘momentum track’ because you’ll see a lot of guys get a lot of speed off the corners. To me, it’s still a similar track to the other 1.5-mile tracks, but hopefully we’ll get a good finish in our UPS Freight Ford this weekend.”
