Overview

Valvoline’s AW-HVI Hydraulic Fluids are premium multi-grade high viscosity index anti-wear hydraulic oils developed to meet the requirements of modern hydraulic systems which operate at low or widely varying ambient temperatures. They are formulated with high quality distillate stocks to provide excellent stability and contain specially selected anti-wear agents, rust and oxidation inhibitors, and anti-foamants to give long life, corrosion protection, and rapid entrained air release. They are recommended for mobile equipment applications and other systems that have wide variations in system operating temperatures. The multi-grade characteristics allow them to function at low operating temperatures while maintaining sufficient body and viscosity to prevent excessive leakage and pump damage as the system operating temperature increases.

The excellent demulsibility of Valvoline's AW Hydraulic Oils proves highly useful in mobile equipment applications. Other suitable applications (of proper grades) include lubrication of machine tools, servo controls, metalworking equipment, as light duty crankcase oils, circulating systems, bearings/journal (anti friction) and gear cases.

Do not use in ammonia compressors, as heat transfer oils, with silver bearings or at prolonged temperature above 200F.
