Overview
Oil and grease seem to find their way to the outside of engines. Dust and dirt stick to the oily surface and absorb even more oil. If this process is allowed to continue, a thick, grimy coating forms.
Pyroil® Engine Degreaser is a blend of solvents, cleaners, emulsifiers and detergents designed to quickly dissolve oil, grease and grime while breaking up and removing deposits from engines, transmissions, differentials and most under-the-hood parts. It is also good for degreasing concrete driveways and removing tar and oil from painted surfaces. It is available in formulation to meet low VOC regulations.
How To Use
Scrape off heavy build-up of grease and grime. For best results, engine should be warm (NOT HOT). If engine is cold, start and let idle until warm. If engine is at full operating temperature (HOT), let it cool for thirty minutes. Cover distributor and carburetor with plastic. Apply Pyroil® Low VOC Engine Cleaner and Degreaser directly onto the surface to be cleaned. Allow to penetrate grease, oil or grime and then hose off with water.
