How Does ASE Certification Work?
Prospective candidates can take ASE certification tests in one or more specialty areas. To reach Master Technician status, individuals must take all ASE exams specified for a given specialty area, usually eight tests. The tests are grouped into specialties for automobile, medium/heavy truck, truck equipment, engine machinists and more.
