Valvoline 75w90 Synthetic Gear Oil claims to meet SAE J2360 specifications. However, Valvoline 75w140 Synthetic Gear Oil does not make the same claim. Do both of these Valvoline SynPower products meet the SAE J2360 spec?
No. Valvoline SynPower Full Synthetic 75w140 Gear Oil is not approved for the J2360 specification.

Yes. SynPower Oil Treatment has been discontinued.

Has SynPower Brake Fluid been discontinued?
Yes. Valvoline SynPower Brake Fluid has been replaced by Valvoline Full Synthetic DOT 3 & DOT 4 Brake Fluid.

Has SynPower Power Steering Fluid been discontinued? If so, what is your recommended replacement?
SynPower Synthetic Power Steering Fluid has been discontinued. We recommend Valvoline Performance Chemicals Power Steering Fluid as a replacement. Please note that this product is not synthetic.

I have been using SynPower Power Steering Fluid and/or Brake Fluid in the past. Is it OK to top off with other products, or do I need to drain the system first?
You can top off with other products as long as they meet the manufacturer's specifications.
