FAQs
Pyroil
-
What is the proper way to use engine flush? Do I drain the oil first or add the engine flush to the oil?
- Check to make certain the oil in the crankcase is up to safe level and then warm engine to driving temperature.
- Immediately before changing oil and filter, add Pyroil Engine Flush to crankcase and allow engine to run at normal idle speed for 5 minutes. Do not drive vehicle or race engine until crankcase has been drained and fresh motor oil installed.
- Drain crankcase and replace oil filter.
- Refill crankcase with fresh motor oil.

Motor Oil Myths
- Synthetic oils are too thin, creating blow-by and oil burn-off in older cars.
- Just like conventional motor oil, synthetic oils have a specific viscosity grade. However, synthetic motor oil contains extra lubrication additives to make the oil stronger and provide higher heat dissipation. Synthetic oils do not affect seals and will not be the cause of blow-by or oil burn off in an older engine.
