          Antifreeze

          1. Does the color of antifreeze matter? Can you mix different colored products?

Color can be a factor as many antifreeze and vehicle manufacturers dye antifreeze for identification purposes. It is recommended to always follow the specifications in your owner's manual for coolant applications.

          2. Can you mix Dexcool® with other antifreeze products?

Mixing coolants has the potential to cause corrosion issues. Valvoline recommends using the correct antifreeze/coolant for your particular application.

          Motor Oil Myths

Changing oil myself will void my manufacturer's warranty.
Using a brand of oil that is different from your vehicle manufacturer's factory fill will not void the warranty nor will changing the oil yourself. As long as you use an oil that meets the vehicle manufacturer's standards, you will not void the warranty.
